Nanya Technology won the TCSA “Top 10 Taiwanese Companies Sustainability Model Award” for the Second Year

November 16th, 2022 –Nanya Technology today won multiple awards from Taiwan Academy of Corporate Sustainability.

Nanya Technology has received the Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards (TCSA) “Top 10 Taiwanese Companies Sustainability Model Award”, “Corporate Sustainability Reports Platinum Award”, and won Sustainable Individual Performance in the category of “Growth Through Innovation Leadership”, “Water Management Leadership”, “Circular Economy Leadership”, “Information Security Leadership”. We also won the “Transparency and Integrity Leadership”, “Creative Communication Leadership” for the first time. Meanwhile, Dr. Pei-Ing Lee, President of Nanya Technology, received “Global Corporate Sustainability Awards, GCSA Outstanding Professional Award.”

It is an honor to be selected as one of the Top 10 Taiwanese Companies Sustainability Model for the second time. Nanya will continue to work with global partners, and taking “Innovation”, “Talent” and “Green” as the keys of ESG to achieve sustainability.” said Nanya Technology President, Dr. Pei-Ing Lee.

For “Innovation” and “Talent”, Nanya has been granted over 5,900 patents worldwide accumulated. We have been qualified for the Ministry of Labor’s Gold Certificate of Talent Quality-Management System (TTQS) for the third time. Nanya Has been cultivating DRAM talents through Industry-academia collaboration and internship programs with 12 universities and established Semiconductor Academy and Memory Engineering Master Program.

For “Green”, Nanya has actively implemented green production practices and renewable energy. Our eco-friendly products accounted for 87% of our revenue in 2021, saving up to 710 million kWh of electricity for our customers. In 2022, the company also collaborated with Ming Chi University of Technology with an event on “Environmental Sustainability”. Using recycled copper-containing liquid waste as raw material to design creative copper gifts to promote SDGs concepts in the younger generations.

For “Sustainable Supply Chain Management”, Nanya implemented risk management through audits and improvement tracking, also actively communicate with suppliers for ESG cooperation. In terms of environmental aspects, the company was recognized with the CDP Climate Change Evaluation’s highest honor: "A List Leadership Level" and received National Enterprises Environmental Protection Award for the second year. Nanya also joins Semiconductor Climate Consortium (SCC) as a founding member, connect supply chains worldwide to fight against climate change and exert the positive influence of ESG.
